Wine of the Week

There was a classic question on the MW Exam last week that asked about the success of sparkling wine worldwide and luckily I had prepared for it.  The only unfortunate fact was that I forgot to include this great example I had about Argyle and its success in the ratings over the years. Oh well, I guess I can use the example if I need it for next year's exam.  If you haven't guessed already, I really like this wine. Already one of the most fun (and weird) places to visit in the United States, Portland has an awesome wine and beer culture. And part of that culture has to include Argyle, one of the longest producing winery from the northern Willamette Valley. Just a tad bit more fruity than Champagne, this is a bisquity version, but not overdone and surprisingly not as acidic as one would expect.  A summer favorite for sure.
